Learn Thai Yoga!

COURSE Overview:

Embark on a profound journey into the healing art of Thai Yoga Therapy with this immersive 20-hour training led by Laura Armenta and Kaylee Koslowske. This introductory-level course is thoughtfully designed for those new to Thai Yoga, bodywork practitioners seeking to expand their skills, wellness professionals, or anyone wishing to deepen their understanding of holistic healing traditions.
Throughout this weekend, participants will engage in both theoretical knowledge and practical application, learning how to hold space, connect mindfully, and offer a therapeutic touch rooted in centuries of wisdom.


WHAT’S INCLUDED:

Module 1: The Essentials:  An in-depth foundation in the philosophy, ethics, and principles of Thai Yoga Therapy. This module introduces participants to key concepts such as:
* The roots and history of Thai Yoga
* Wai khru and the Thai Sen Sib (energy line) system
* Body mechanics, breath awareness, and practitioner alignment
* Grounded presence and intuitive listening
* Respecting client boundaries and practitioner responsibility
* Opening sequences and basic assisted postures


Module 2: Introductory Flow: This module guides participants through a structured sequence integrating the essential techniques learned in Module 1. Focus areas include:
* Smooth transitions between postures
* Rhythmic flow and meditative presence
* Partner engagement and breath synchronization
* Safe and effective application of pressure and stretching
* Introduction to supine and prone positions
Participants will practice with peers under the supervision of Laura and Kaylee, receiving real-time feedback to refine their technique and enhance confidence.

Saturday, May 17: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
Sunday, May 18: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
(With scheduled breaks and time for lunch each full day)
